When I think of
When I think of Lyn I am filled with warmth. That’s what she did- she radiated warmth. Growing up, our families were intertwined and weekends, birthdays and holidays were spent together in some way. Going to see Lyn and Andy was home from home. Charlie and I would spend our time out and about or catching up on Bart Simpson and Sega Mega Drive. Their house was full of fun, laughter, kids, lizards, fish and rabbits and the occasional kitten (some lasted longer than others!).
She was the one who would cut my fringe, feed us marmite sandwiches and wotsits and let us play for hours. I have so many brilliant memories of Lyn, so many that to sit and write them all would take another lifetime. She was kind, funny, loyal and the most selfless person I’ve known. I am so lucky to have had Lyn in my life and to know she was my mums very best friend in the world. Missing her is going to be hard, as I know she loved her life so much. Sleep well Lyn. We love you ❤️
